Glastonbury 2015 got off to an explosive start with two 'secret' but blistering sets from Drenge and Wolf Alice last night (Thursday 25 June).

Rumours of an appearance from the two acts on the William's Green stage began spread throughout the afternoon - drawing a massive crowd to the area, spilling well out of the tent and deep into the field.

The brothers Drenge, simply billed as 'mystery band', took to the stage at 8.30pm - performing a ferocious set that drew on both their albums, with highlights including the brilliant 'We Can Do What We Want' and 'Bloodsports'.

Then, Wolf Alice took to William's Green for an incredible 45-minute set of cuts from their immaculate debut album, My Love Is Cool - which is on course to be No.1 this weekend. Opening with the furious 'Fluffy', other peaks included 'Your Love's Whore' and 'You're A Germ', as the band rocked well into the evening.

Introducing the magnificent single 'Bros', guitarist Joff Oddie dedicated it as a "song for anyone who came here with a friend". The enraptured masses then joined arm in arm until the pinnacle of Drenge's Eoin Loveless joining the band for the finale 'Moaning Lisa Smile' - as singer Ellie Rowsell invaded the crowd to scream along with fans.

Wolf Alice perform at Glastonbury again at 5pm on the Park Stage today, while today also sees the likes of Florence + The Machine, Motorhead, The Cribs, The Vaccines and more make appearances.

Frank Turner, The Charlatans and Bastille have all confirmed themselves for secret sets today, while speculation gathers around who could stand in for Florence + The Machine's original pre-headline slot on the Pyramid Stage - with rumours suggesting it could be The Libertines
