Get excited for new music, fans of The 1975 - as it looks like the countdown has officially begun.
After devastating fans when it looked like they may have split up, before swiftly returning with new brighter and bolder pink artwork, all that fans have had to sink their teeth into is some upcoming tour dates and some teasing in the form of mysterious new images and merchandise.
Well, now it looks like something massive is on the horizon, with the band kicking off a ticking countdown to 10 days from today (Tuesday 29 September). Check it out here.
Beyond that, no further clues have been issued, with the band simply posting:

"Our projected identity must change not only visually but philosophically – how do you do that?," wrote frontman Matt Healy earlier this year of the band's evolution, "Firstly we must reclaim our identity & repossess our control of it...Until then there won’t be any pop music or dancing with long hair."
He continued: "The hardest part of any relationship is to say goodbye. As much as we might like things to stay the same, change is an inevitable part of life. We can't simply go on forever – always staying the same, never evolving. So we must leave, with a parting 'we love you' – we are already gone."
