If you love your rock to be classic and your gigs to be classic, then you're in luck - Jeff Lynne's ELO are hitting the road to tour in 2016.
Having just completed an UK arena tour, the 'Mr Blue Sky' and 'Confusion' icon will be taking ELO on the road once again for a run of massive arena dates next year.
Today also sees the release of new ELO album, Alone In The Universe. It's received some huge rave reviews, and we can't wait to hear it live - giving new life too, to his huge catalogue of hits.
"I'll tell you what, Tom Petty made the best rationale for that: I always had too many hits," Lynne told The Quietus of his comeback. "Too many hit singles. And people don't like that. Writers, they just don't forgive you for that. If you have too many, they think there's gotta be something wrong with you. You must be like Perry Como, know what I mean?
"And it's just a weird thing that happened. But now they're starting to realise: these songs are still hanging around. So it couldn't just have been a fluke, with novelty tunes and that. You know?
