The three-act shortlist for the BRITs Critics Choice Award has been unveiled - and it's between Izzy Bizu, Frances and Jack Garratt. Which artist will follow in the footsteps of 2015 winner James Bay, 2014 winner Sam Smith, and previous alumni Adele and Florence + The Machine? We'll find out on 24 February, when the ceremony will be broadcast live from London's O2 Arena.
The incumbent Critics Choice winner, James Bay, reached No.1 with his debut album, Chaos And The Calm, in March - and it's gone on to become one of the biggest selling albums of 2015. The wait is nearly over to find out who'll follow him.
Perhaps the most established of the three acts is Jack Garratt, who's already achieved considerable attention for his singles 'Weathered' and 'Worry', and will be supporting Mumford & Sons on their UK arena tour this month ahead of his own headline tour in April.
Frances, who's released two EPs so far, also pricked the public's ears this year - with a cover of Justin Bieber's 'What Do You Mean?' in the Live Lounge. Meanwhile Izzy Bizu, who "grew up on a diet of Ella Fitzgerald, Amy Winehouse and Marvin Gaye", releases her debut album, A Moment Of Madness, in May.
