Emily Eavis has revealed that PJ Harvey will be performing at this year's Glastonbury - her first appearance there in over a decade.
Speaking to BBC 6 Music, the festival organiser said, "The other thing that we have got is PJ Harvey's coming back - I think the last time she played was 1994, so it's been a long time. She's a local girl and she's amazing and always delivers an incredible show, so we're really excited about that."
In fact, she was ten years out, because PJ Harvey played at Glastonbury back in 2004 as part of her Uh Huh Her tour - but we'll let her off.
PJ Harvey's new album, The Hope Six Demolition Project, was recorded in public behind one-way glass last year, and is set for release on 15 April. It draws from several journeys undertaken by Harvey, who spent time in Kosovo, Afghanistan and Washington D.C. over a four year period.
Meanwhile, Coldplay were recently revealed as the first Glastonbury headliners. "They had their first headline slot here," said Eavis. "They only had one album, to headline the Pyramid Stage on one album is quite unusual, so there's this definite sense of pride to see them go through everything they've been through to become this massive band."
Jeff Lynne's ELO will also be performing at this year's festival, during the 'golden oldies' Sunday teatime slot. The rest of the line-up will be revealed in April.
Glastonbury Festival is set to take place from 22 - 26 June at Worthy Farm in Somerset.
