Madonna has asked her legal team to stop a series of private love letters from appearing in a new exhibition, according to reports.
Seventeen letters and photos, which were written to her former boyfriend James Albright, are among over 300 artefacts due to go on display in London next year.
The letters are said to be signed 'Spanky' and feature lipstick kisses.
A source told the Mirror newspaper: "Who'd want private sentiments to someone they loved revealed? Lawyers sent a warning. She hopes it will work."
As previously reported on Gigwise, the exhibition at the Old Truman Brewery will also include Madonna's infamous Material Girl dress.
The exhibition will run for a month from February 21st.
Madonna's Sticky and Sweet world tour kicked off in Cardiff last weekend.
