Linkin Park's debut LP 'Hybrid Theory' has become the 20th album to pass 10 million sales in the US.
The band's 2000 album joins the likes of Shania Twain's 'Come On Over', Bob Marley's 'Legend' and Backstreet Boys' self-titled debut in reaching the milestone since SoundScan started digitally counting sales in 1991.
'Hybrid Theory' never reached number 1 on the US album charts but went on the become the biggest selling LP of 2001 with almost 5 million sales.
Metallica's self-titled 1991 album remains the biggest selling album since digital sales counting began with 15.8 million copies sold.
The album is the fourth to rack up more than 10 million sales without ever having hit the top of the charts.
All four of Linkin Park's albums following 'Hybrid Theory' have made it to number 1 on the US charts, but they have not sold as many overall.
It was revealed this morning that Linkin Park are working on new material with drum 'n' bass producer DJ Fresh.
Linkin Park topped the UK Album Chart earlier this year with their latest album 'Living Things'.
