Blink-182 have collaborated with American rapper Yelawolf for their latest punk-rock offering 'Pretty Little Girl'.
The track is everything you would expect from the trio, and it's pleasing to see they haven't lost touch with what gave them so much success back in the early 00s.
Speaking to Billboard about the band's new EP, guitarist and vocalist, Tom DeLonge said: "It sounds like a very progressive punk-rock band. It's prog-rock and punk all coming together and it's very modern and relevant."
He's not wrong. Blink still have that overly American twang and punk style in their music that is instantly recognisable and was missed by so many during the band's hiatus.
Former skateboard professional turned rapper, Yelawolf teams up with the rockers to create this classic Blink track. Everything that people know and love about the band can be found on this tune.
Plans for the Dogs Eating Dogs EP came about after the trio parted company with Interscope Records. Lead frontman, Mark Hoppus told CBS Local: "It's a real positive, excited energy between the three of us. Getting a chance to become independent after being on a label for whatever it's been, 17 years now. It's a really cool position to be in."
