Instagram have threatened to shut down Madonna's photo-sharing account claiming she has 'violated' their community guidelines.
The singer took a snap of the letter which she had received from Instagram, asking her not to 'share photos that show nudity or mature content'.
The letter reads: "Dear Madonna, it has come to our attention that your account on Instagram has violated our community guidelines ... We ask that you: don't share photos that aren't yours [and] don't share photos that show nudity or mature content."
The warning also goes on to tell Madge not to post 'photos of illegal content' or 'photos that attack an individual or group'.
Madonna could lose her Instagram account
The 54-year-old has only been a user on the photo-sharing site since November and had only posted 19 snaps to date. It is unclear as to which photographs have caused Instagram to send a letter to the star.
One photo shows Madonna's cleavage while another features her bottom, but other than those it's difficult to see where any offence was caused.
Last week, the singer was named as the highest-earning musician of 2012 thanks to her MDNA tour which helped her collect almost £35 million.
