Boards of Canada have announced plans to 'transmit' their long-anticipated new album 'Tomorrow's Harvest' on Monday 3 June.
The album is the band's first for seven years and will be released on 10 June via Warp Records.
Announcing the 'transmission' on their Facebook page, the elusive band said that fans will able to hear the album via their website at the following times on Monday (Tuesday for Japan):
13:00 PST | 16:00 EST | 21:00 UK | 22:00 EU | 05:00 JP (4 June)
Last week, the band premiered the video for 'Reach For The Dead', a short film by director Neil Krug. See the video below.
The track is available for download now. 'Reach For The Dead' is an ambient slice of downtempo electronica, packed with static and building towards a melancholy, but uplifting climax. The visuals, set mostly in a desert or showing stunning cloud scenes, suit the music perfectly.
