Lana Del Rey has addressed the relentless leaking of unfinished tracks and demos over recent months, suggesting fans could expect 'hundreds' more to appear online.

Tracks including 'Behind Closed Doors', 'Maha Maha', 'So Legit', 'Black Beauty' and many more besides have hit YouTube and Soundcloud recently, and in a new interview with Radio.com, Lana explained the source of the leaks.

"To be honest, what really happened was, three years ago somebody remotely accessed my hard drive, so even songs I’ve never emailed to myself [were accessed]," said the singer during the interview. "There are hundreds of them."

The tracks were mostly old demos, but she has also revealed that 'Black Beauty' was a new track which she had recorded for possible inclusion on the follow up to her debut album, Born To Die.

"Some of them were, but some of them, like 'Black Beauty,' weren’t," she added. "I do feel discouraged, yeah. I don’t really know what to put on the record. But I guess I could just put them on and see what happens. Each time I write... I’ll never write a song if I don’t think it’s going to be perfect for the record."

Speaking of work on her second album, Del Rey discussed progress on the new record and collaborators she is, and wants to, work with.

"I’m writing songs that I really like right now. They’re really low-key and stripped back, all sort of West Coast inspired," she continued. "The further along I’ve gotten, the more I stay working with like the same four people. Like Dan [Daniel Heath], who’s not into pop music but rather, a composer for scores and studied under Hans Zimmer. Him and my boyfriend Barrie."

"I want to work with Lou Reed, and I’d like to kind of keep things low-key and cool."
