The xx, Daughter, Vampire Weekend and more were honoured at The Association of Independent Music Awards last night (Tuesday 3 September), celebrating the many achievements of the UK's independent music scene.
The ceremony, hosted by Radio DJs Steve Lamacq and Huw Stephens, included a total of 16 awards.
Other winners included Django Django who took home the prize for the Independent Video Of The Year for 'WOR' and Frankie & The Heartstrings who were crowned 'Hardest Working Band'. Meanwhile, Billy Bragg received the award for Outstanding Contribution to Music and provided a live performance. Other live performances were delivered by indie rock band Franz Ferdinand.
Enter Shikari received the award for Best Live Act, while Macklemore and Ryan Lewis received two awards for Independent Breakthrough and Most Played New Independent Act.
