The Killers have been confirmed to appear a this year's European Music Awards - in what could be the Las Vegas band's last performance as a band for quite some time.
The band will perform at the event at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam on 10 November, and they join previously confirmed performer Katy Perry at the show, while Will Ferrell will host the show, in character as Ron Burgundy from the Anchorman movies.
The Killers' future is currently looking extremely uncertain, with the band seemingly fractured ahead of the release of new single 'Shot At The Night' and best of collection, Direct Hits. Guitarist Dave Keunig recently revealed that he is 'sick of touring with the band' - while bassist Mark Stoermer has been absent from live shows due to exhaustion.
"I am sick of this. I'm done," Keuning tells NME. "The end is in sight. Some people might go, 'Why are you complaining?' But you haven't done what I have done, so you can't relate. We just toured a shitload."

Meanwhile drummer Ronnie Vanucci commented added: "I don't want to blow the top on it. Being part of this machine is physical and mentally exhausting."
Frontman Brandon Flowers, meanwhile, confirmed that his main priority is now his second solo studio album.
"Whatever's happening now [with Stoermer] is going to be fine by the time we make another record," Flowers said. "I'm just going to put my heart and soul into my solo record."
