Led Zeppelin frontman and solo star Robert Plant led a tribute concert in memory of legendary folk singer songwriter Bert Jansch earlier this week.
On Tuesday night (3 December, 2013) the iconic rocker was joined by members of the guitarist's band Pentangle, alongside Donovan, Ralph McTell and others at the Royal Festival Hall in London, at a gig to mark Jansch's 70th birthday.
Jancsch lost his battle with lung cancer in 2011, and will be remembered as a towering figure in folk music, who influenced the likes of Paul Simon, Johnny Marr, Elton John, Bernard Butler, Jimmy Page, Nick Drake, Graham Coxon, Neil Young, Fleet Foxes, Devendra Banhart and countless others.
