Rock bands and Christmas merchandise. Goes together like cheese and loads more cheese. Blink 182 have revealed their own contribution to the Christmas market with their official Christmas baubles.
The green decorations aren't for grandma, as they come with the festive slogan 'Merry Fucking Xmas 2013' on one side and the band's official logo on the other. The are available to buy from the band's official store for $5.90. Check them out here.
Blink 182 have more than baubles in the pipeline, with a headline slot at next year's Reading + Leeds festival already confirmed for 2014.
"I'm stoked to play Reading & Leeds 2014," says Mark Hoppus of Blink 182. "It's our fourth time playing the festivals, and we’re very honoured. The new year will see us in the studio preparing new music, getting ready to rock the fine people of the UK. Prepare for the fury."
Hoppus also told Radio.com the pop punk trio will be heading into the studio in January in the hope of playing new material at the August festivals. "We are coming with new material. We go into the studio after the holidays, and the goal is to have an album out in time for the festival," he said.
Their headline set at the festivals will be the band's only UK shows in 2014. "I’m stoked to play Reading & Leeds 2014," Hoppus added. "It’s our fourth time playing the festivals, and we’re very honoured. The new year will see us in the studio preparing new music, getting ready to rock the fine people of the UK. Prepare for the fury."
