Metallica performed a special collaboration with renowned Chinese concert pianist Lang Lang at the 2014 Grammy Awards last night. Watch them performing 'One' together below.
Introduced by Thirty Seconds To Mars frontman Jared Leto, the performance was revealed as a tribute to the late great Lou Reed - whom the band collaborated with on the album, Lulu. Guitarist Kirk Hammett then appeared on stage in a Lou Reed t-shirt, before Lang Lang began playing a stirring piano introduction to the classic track from the album And Justice For All.
Provocative images of war were then displayed on the screens behind as the band tore through the track, melding axe-shredding metal mastery with insane piano genius to dazzling effect.
