A spoof website posing as the official Red Hot Chili Peppers Super Bowl page and containing a brilliant 'parody' song has become an online sensation. Listen to the track below.

The site, RHCP2014.com, seems remarkably official and legitimate, claiming to host the band's new single and covered in official sponsorship and branding for their upcoming Super Bowl performance with Bruno Mars.

However, the song 'Abracadabralifornia' which plays in the background is actually lifted from a Comedy Bang Bang podcast that aired last March titled 'The Pepper Men'. Either way, it's the perfect send-up of the Chili Peppers, driven by iconic hooks simulating their funk-lite style and Anthony Keidis quickfire semi-rap nonsencial gibberish.

A highlight being the line: "I drink a Alabama slammer with your sexy ass grammar."

Listen to 'Abracadabralifornia' below, via Consequence Of Sound or visit RHCP2014.com to stream or download the track.

Bruno Mars and RHCP will be performing at the Super Bowl XLVIII at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ on Sunda 2 February 2014.
