It may not be the follow-up to Hurry Up, We're Dreaming that we're all hoping for, but M83 has announced the vinyl release of his score to animated movie, You And The Night. It'll tide us over.
M83 main-man Anthony Gonzales scored the movie, which was directed by brother Yann Gonzalez. Now, the album will be available to buy on vinyl from 11 March 2014.
The score is largely instrumental, but still displays the epic scope of M83's finest work, with intricate, uplifting strings and haunting, chanted vocals - as previously demonstrated on lead track from the movie, 'Ali & Mattias' - the young, unconventional couple who are the stars of the story.
