Pixies announce release of first new album in 23 years, Indie Cindy

Pixies have announced the long-awaited release of their first new album in 23 years. Watch the trailer for Indie Cindy below. 

Indie Cindy will be the grunge icons' fifth album, and their first since 1991's Trompe Le Monde. Produced by Gil Norton, who also produced classic Pixies records such as Doolittle and Bossanova, the album will be released on 28 April. 

The album can currenly be pre-ordered on standard and deluxe CD, download and vinyl from the band's official website.

Pixies will be returning to the UK for a string of festival dates this summer, including London's Field Day and Summer In The City in Manchester. For more information visit Gigwise gig tickets.
