Bob Geldof has unveiled Band Aid 30's latest version of 'Do They Know It's Christmas Time', with an accompanying video. Check it out below.
The new version, re-recorded to tackle the Ebola crisis in West Africa, was recorded in London this weekend and features Coldplay's Chris Martin, Bono from U2, One Direction, Ellie Goulding, Bastille, Sam Smith, Queen's Roger Taylor and many more.
Unveiled by Sir Bob Geldof on The X Factor this evening (Sunday 16 November, 2014), the track stays fairly close to previous versions - albeit with a subtley more soulful and tender sound - not to mention some of Bono's lyrics altered. 'Tonight, thank God it's them instead of you' has now been changed to 'tonight, we're reaching out and touching you'. A great many of the other iconic lyrics have been changed to explore Ebola.
