DJ Mehdi RIP: Listen To The French Producer's Best Songs And Remixes

Gigwise has confirmed today (September 13) the sad death of French producer DJ Mehdi.

Details of how the 34-year-old musician died have yet to be confirmed, but the news of his death has sent shock waves across the music world. Chromeo, one of his long-time collaborators, and rapper Drake have both expressed their sadness.

Born Mehdi Favéris-Essadi, Mehdi was a member of the illustrious Ed Banger Records label, and collaborated with the likes of  Daft Punk, Cassius, MC Solaar, Futura 2000 and Asian Dub Foundation.

As we await news of how DJ Mehdi died, Gigwise has decided to celebrate the producer's life by putting together a collection of some of his best productions and remixers.
