90’s - Oasis - Definitely Maybe
00’s - The Strokes - Is This It

What inspired you to start a band?
I started out playing acoustically then I got offered a show at a big venue in my home town in 2018 so I decided to put a band together and have been performing live with a full band ever since.
What's your favourite part of performing live?
I love all of it. Even load-in. Its just mint to look out and see people dancing around/having a good time to your music.
Tell us about your latest release.
My latest release is titled ‘Time’ and was released on 28 May. It’s a song that I wrote very quickly. It came out in what felt like one go, I think you can hear that energy in the recording. It tips its hat to young love but the main message is to get people dancing. This follows on from my two previous releases this year ‘Lula’ & ‘Call My Name’ both of which have had radio support from John Kennedy @ Radio X as well as BBC Introducing.
What do you have coming up?
We have lots coming up in 2021. Lots of music that I’ve been sitting on for a while and can’t wait to finally get it out into the world for everyone to hear. We have our first headline show of the year @ KU, Stockton on Friday 25 June and there is a headline tour in December to follow as well playing Newcastle, London and Manchester. Hopefully some festivals along the way too!
