Pop punk may finally be returning to the forefront of music on a wave of brand new artists reinventing the genre, but for so many, it never went away. A considerable portion of those people gathered in Leeds' Temple Newsam and Hatfield Park last weekend for their mecca festival: Slam Dunk.
This year, a line-up of seasoned performers and newbies in the arena of pop punk and its surrounding disciplines (McFly drew a large crowd!) arrived to blow the knee socks off of a clientele of diehard music fans.
