More about:

Brandon Flowers has dropped another taster of his new solo album with the huge new track and video for 'Lonely Town'. Check it out below.

Rich and surging synths, horns and soulful backing vocals underlie an absolute power-pop banger. It really ought to come with a warning of 1980s nostalgia, as well as fingerless leather gloves and some shoulder pads. It's pretty glorious.

The accompanying video is a fittingly vivid and romantic clip of a disenchanted losing her mind in a solo dance-off to a Brandon Flowers cassette. We can understand why.

Watch the video for 'Lonely Town' below

Flowers will release his second solo album The Desired Effect on 18 May, before embarking on a massive EU, UK and US tour. Full dates are below. For tickets and more information, visit here.
