Mumford & Sons' frontman, Marcus Mumford, has spoken out about the events that would follow the hypothetical split of his band, and the results are promising.
Even with reaching the peaks of having a number album with their latest offering, Wilder Mind, the Mumford singer is "still surprised" that fronting a band is his job and has talked about a back-up in a new interview.
Speaking to The Big Issue, Mumford said: "I've still got contingency plans at the back of my head, before every tour, about becoming a teacher or a farmer".
He continued: "I definitely have some sort of arrested development in terms of my psychology in terms of my career, where I still sort of feel like this is going to stop tomorrow."

And while we firmly believe Mumford would make a fine addition to the agricultural arts, recent events have shown the frontman to have many talents in all areas of music. This includes, but is not limited to, being the convincing frontman of a boyband as shown in the hilarious sketch the band did on the Jimmy Kimmel show.
The band have also been seen digging into pop-punk with an onstage collaboration with Blink-182's Mark Hoppus for a surreal cover of Eurythmics' 'Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This)'.
This weekend sees the band headline Reading & Leeds festival across August Bank Holiday weekend, and will also see performances from Metallica, The Libertines, Jamie T, Limp Bizkit, Royal Blood, Kendrick Lamar, Alt-J and many more. For Reading tickets visit here, and for Leeds tickets visit here.
