Bad news for Janet Jackson fans - the pop icon will not be heading out on tour for her new album after all, telling fans that she's in need of surgery.
Jackson, now at age 49 with a net worth reportedly over $1billion, released her 11th album Unbreakable back in October. However, she's now taken to Facebook to tell fans that she will not be touring.
"Hey you guys… Happy Holidays to each and every one of you," she said. "I need you to know, I learned today, from my doctors that I must have surgery soon. It breaks my heart to tell you that I am forced to postpone the Unbreakable Tour until the spring. Every date will be rescheduled. Please hold on to your tickets.
"They will be honored in a special way when the new schedule is announced. Please pray for me, my family and our entire company during this difficult time. There will be no further comment. I love you all so much and am ever grateful for your understanding and your love. Gon' b alright."
The rescheduled dates are yet to be announced, but the following UK dates have been postponed:
30 March - Birmingham, Barclaycard Arena
31 March - London, O2 Arena
4 April - Glasgow, SSE Hydro
5 April - Manchester, Arena
Jackson made headlines earlier this year, when she was accused of deleting fans' Instagram accounts for posting live videos and photos of her - but she soon took to Instagram to clarify the situation.
