Disturbing news of more atrocities committed by Jimmy Savile in a new report into sexual abuse he committed by at the BBC has emerged - with reports that the DJ and TV host raped a 10-year-old boy while raped as a Womble.

The reports come from a new review carried out by Dame Janet Smith - which found that there were 72 victims of Savile and fellow broadcaster Stuart Hall while at the station. Eight of which were raped.

Among them, was a 10-year-old boy, who was joined by a 12-year-old girl from Scotland when the pair were led backstage after the filming of Top Of The Pops back in December, 1973. Savile was still wearing a Womble costume from the filming.

After the heinous act, the presenter is said to have put his arm around each of the children, and said that it would be a 'secret'.

"She did not tell anyone what had happened," reads the report, as reported by Metro. "She thought it was her fault and that she might go to hell for what she had done."

After concluded that her claims were supported by other evidence, Dame Janet said: "I accept their accounts as true."

Unveiling her findings, Dame Janet said that there were 'serious sexual predators' at the BBC, and the network missed five opportunities to prevent further abuse from Savile and Hall. "Both of these men used their fame and positions as BBC celebrities to abuse the vulnerable," she said. "They must be condemned for their monstrous behaviour."

Sir Jimmy Savile died in October 2011, before he could be brought to justice.
