He's back: after too long away, Phil Collins has announced that he'll be returning to tour - with details of his first comeback show revealed.
The former Genesis turned solo icon, who brought us the likes of 'In The Air Tonight' and 'Easy Lover', returns. After quitting the world of music in 2011, Collins revealed last year that he was 'no longer officially retired' and now 'out of the stable and raring to go'.
Since then, fans have been hopeful of a new album and comeback tour. Now, he's announced his first proper show and tour in six years.
Dates for the UK at the Royal Albert Hall are as follows:
4 June - Royal Albert Hall, London
5 June - Royal Albert Hall, London
7 June - Royal Albert Hall, London
8 June - Royal Albert Hall, London
9 June - Royal Albert Hall, London
Tickets go on pre-sale on October 17 here.
He'll be performing at the Dreaming On The Beach Concert at the Fillmore Miami on 11 March, in aid of his charity, the Little Dreams Foundation. The show has been bolled as “Phil Collins Unplugged" and featuring a few “special guests”. Tickets are available here.
Now, we await news of an appearance at Glastonbury, perhaps?
Phil Collins is currently working on his autobiography, which will hopefully shed light on his abandoned recording sessions for 'slippery little fish' Adele's 25. The 'Hello' star later revealed that she 'just chickened out' of the collaboration.
