Suede, Jesse Glyne and Kelis have been announced as Standon Calling 2016 headliners amongst an eclectic mix of acts.
After a successful sell-out year last year, Standon Calling returns, bringing The Hives, Everything Everything, Ghostpoet, Anna Calvi, Blossoms, The Thurston Moore Band and many more to its stunning manor grounds.
The festival promises to deliver a range of genres that will suit all kinds of music lovers. Electronic ravers will be sure to enjoy sets from Theo Parrish and GOLDIE as well as music from Dan Deacon, Gold Panda and Luke Abbot. Standon Calling’s own nightclub, the Cowshed will keep partygoers raving until the early hours.
Indie fans are also spoilt for choice. As if Suede and The Hives aren’t enough to fill their indie appetite, Teleman, Meilyr Jones, Declan McKenna, Clean Cut Kid, Pins and Swim Deep, will certainly fill their void.
The festival, which markets itself as the perfect overgrown house party, also boasts quirky workshops, talks, an annual dog show, a fancy dress parade and its own heated outdoor swimming pool.
The theme for this year’s festival will be announced on Saturday, so stay tuned. Past themes have included Murder on the Standon Express, Running Away from the Circus and A Town of Two Faces.
The festival will take place between 29-31 July at Standon in Hertfordhshire. For tickets and more information visit here.
