Jake Bugg has hit out at Noel Gallagher, slamming his last album Chasing Yesterday as 'pretty crap'.

The statement comes after Gallagher said that he was 'heartbroken' to discover that Bugg had worked with other people to help write his songs. 

Now, Bugg has retaliated by hitting out at Gallagher's last record and the way that he handles his criticism of other artists. 

"Noel's last album is pretty crap though, innit?" Bugg told NME. "I'm not upset about it because it's just Noel – he'll slag off Ed Sheeran and then be at a party with him the next week. It's just the way he is."

Meanwhile, Jake Bugg recently announced his third album On My One - which is due for release on 17 June.
