Today is the day that all Glastonbury goers need to pay off their balance in full to secure their tickets. In great Twitter fashion, people have reacted to the fact that they have secured their tickets. But whilst some fans are elated, a lot are feeling the burn in their pockets.
Would-be Glasto-goers who have paid the deposit last year now have from 9am today until 11:59pm on Thursday 7 April 2016 to pay the remaining balance or lose out. One should assume that these unpaid and unwanted tickets will be available for re-sale in the weeks following.
Not only has the price of the tickets left some people penniless, but there is a reoccuring theme of anger against the postal charge. Some have pointed out the £7.50 is a bit much considering the ticket price. But aside from that, a lot of fresh speculation has now been raised around the potential lineup changes, or new additions.
The announcement of Adele is again facing fresh rumours. But it would appear that it is all hearsay. As some people are calling for her to drop-out others are tweeting that she already has. April fools or not, the rumour mill on balance day is always in full force.
The line-up is real, but some people are still not quite happy with it
Just seen the Headline acts for Glastonbury 2016. I thought it was an #AprilFools til I noticed the story was published a few days ago! #oh
