Stop what you’re doing and watch this. Garage rock headcases Thee MVPs have released a brand new video for ‘Receiver’ and you can watch it exclusively here.
After a whole month in the van touring coast to coast across America, including stopping off for 16 shows at SXSW with the likes of Meatbodies, Dead Meadow and Night Beats, then taking a plane to another van to tour the UK with Pulled Apart By Horses and TIGERCUB, Thee MVPs refuse to take the foot off the pedal and transmit to you, the viewer, a short film called 'Receiver’.
Shot by Max Horn aka Baronxbones, the film captures three oldies and two brand newbies.
Says Thee MVPs: “The first track/opener ‘Funeral’ has been a crowd favourite for some time and always features in opening the band’s set, a super charged post hardcore number hit with the same force as anything by John Reis/Hot Snakes and standing toe to toe with anything Sub Pop care to put out lately, it’s the most valuable first number to a killer EP played by a competent and confident band.
