More about:

Tom Odell is back - announcing a string of intimate live dates, as well as details of his long-awaited new album, Wrong Crowd.

His debut Long Way Down, was so critically acclaimed that it saw the singer songwriter win the presitgous Ivor Novello award. Since that release Odell has been incredulous about what he has been doing. But three years after his debut, the singer is back.

The album will be released on 10 June 2016 via Columbia Records and was produced by Jim Abbis - who has previously worked with the likes of Adele, Arctic Monkeys, and Kasabian. A video has been released alongside the album announcement, which was shot in South Africa, also has another unreleased track featured at the beginning called, ‘Constellations’.

Though the singer has been quiet, he has said that for this new album: “I wanted the songs to sound big and dramatic; big strings and melodies emphasising the songs further – rich in musicality and holding nothing back.” Odell explained that the album is, “a fictional story but the emotions and feelings are obviously ones I have felt – though the stories are elaborated and exaggerated. I wanted to create a world with a heightened sense of reality.”

The tracklist for Wrong Crowd is as follows:
1. Wrong Crowd
2. Magnetised
3. Concrete
4. Constellations
5. Sparrow
6. Still Getting Used to Being On My Own
7. Silhouette
8. Jealousy
9. Daddy
10. Here I Am
11. Somehow
