Hard rock is again set to return to its home of the hallowed fields of Donington Park next week, as Download Festival welcomes the likes of Rammstein, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden and many more. It's going to get loud, and now we can take a look at how the weather is likely to be... 

They'll be joined by Deftones, Nightwish, Killswitch Engage, Megadeth, Disturbed, Babymetal All Time Low, Jane's Addiction, Skillet Music, NOFX, Skindred, Breaking Benjamin for one of the greatest weekends of the summer. 

Now, early weather forecasts unveil less than ideal conditions - make sure you take your wellies. 

According to the BBC, the weather forecast for Donington Park for Download 2016 will be:
Thursday 9 June: Sunny intervals but mainly cloudy, with temperatures peaking at 20°C
Friday 10 June: Light rain in the afternoon leading to an evening of heavy rain, with a highest temperature of 17°C
Saturday 11 June: Cloudy throughout the day with a chance of light rain, with a high temperature of 18°C
Sunday 12 June: Heavy rain predicted, with temperatures peaking at 17°C.
