In the wake of Brexit and Theresa May becoming the new Prime Minister, Cher has spoken out to slam the appointment of Boris Johnson as new Foreign Secretary. 

David Cameron was made to step down after the Brexit campaign failure, and as Theresa May became Prime Minister yesterday, she introduced former Mayor Of London Boris Johnson as Foreign Secretary - which has sparked much controversy after his controversial decision to step away from the Tory leadership campaign. 

Among the furious, you can count 'Believe' pop icon Cher. Yes, really. 

When asked on Twitter, “what do you think of Boris Johnson as foreign secretary?”, to which she replied “think he’s a f-ing idiot...who lied to the British ppl & didn’t have the [balls] 2 lead then once “LEAVE” vote won.”
