The now legendary 82-year-old man who shocked the world with his incredible cover of heavy metal classic 'Bodies' by Drowning Pool is now set to perform with the band.
Last month, retired aeraerospace engineer, naval pilot and former programme manager repairing the Hubble Telescope John Hetlinger became a global viral sensation when he barked his way through the epic rock track on the reality TV talent show with what he described as 'the highlight of my life and many careers'. Ours too.
He didn't win the competition (OUTRAGE!) but now he receives a much bigger honour - performing the track with Drowning Pool on Friday at Chicago’s Open Air Music Festival.
Making the announcement via TMZ, Hetlinger said: "I'm coming to party with you and Drowning Pool at the Open Air Festival. We'll see the bodies hit the floor in the pit when we join you on Friday afternoon - see you there."
