More about: Gwen Stefani
Proving that her music speaks to fans of every age, Gwen Stefani brought one audience to their knees as the 'Sweet Escape' star invited a young fan on stage when she learned that he had been bullied. Watch footage of the incident below.
Currently on the road for her latest album, This Is What The Truth Feels Like, the No Doubt turned solo sensation was performing in West Palm Beach this week when she saw a poster in the crowd from a mother saying that her son had been bullied "from first to fifth grade" but that the singer's music cheered him up.

"He would come home every day upset, but he'd go to his room, listen to your music, and smile," said Stefani, reading the sign aloud. "Get up here right now!" she said, beckoning the young boy to the stage - to the rapture of the audience.
Taking to Instagram, Stefani wrote: "About 3 years ago when things were hard in my life I prayed to God everyday that I could get a chance to use my gift that God gave me and make a difference in some way in this world. "
Last night this little guy was the answer to my prayers #zerotoleranceforbullies #onelove #thisiswhatthetruthfeelslike."
Stefani's new album largely deals with recovering from the heartache of her divorce from Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale, and her relationship with current boyfriend Blake Shelton.
The remaining members of No Doubt have since formed a new band with AFI frontman Davey Havok.
