Morrissey has spoken out again to dismiss any possible chances of The Smiths reuniting to tour.
There has been talk of 'The Queen Is Dead' indie heroes returning ever since their acrimonious split back in 1987 - from George Michael saying they're coming back, to excitement tenuously gathering around their official Twitter account.
Now, it simply seems that the time has passed...
“It’s no longer a question of time or wounds,” he told News.com.au about mending bridges with Marr, “but simply that the issue is now so remote that the question doesn’t make sense any more.”

Morrissey recently made headlines after hitting out at both Donald Trump and Hilary Clinton - while also being very vocal about claiming to be groped in an airport, his attack on Barrack Obama and his ongoing battle with cancer.
