After a mysterious announcement with familiar silhouettes spread out online, the rumours were confirmed by Goss twins themselves at a press conference in Central London. At the event hosted by Emma Willis, sharp looking now 48 years old once sex symbols confirmed the long awaited reunion. Bros will play a massive show in August 2017. Tickets go on sale this Friday, 7th of October, 11am.

Bros had huge success in the 80s

Bros found success in the late 80s with the hits like When Will I Be Famous? and I Owe You Nothing. Band consisting of twin brothers Matt (vocals), Luke Goss (drums), and Craig Logan (bass), went on to sell almost 1.5 million albums in the UK. Their career peaked at playing to more than 77,000 people at Wembley Stadium back in 1989, making them the youngest band in history to play this iconic venue.

Brotherly success after the band

The band parted ways in 1992, just months after releasing their third and final album Changing FacesMatt went on to launch a successful solo career and has since sold over five million albums. He enjoyed chart success with singles such as The Key and If You Were Here Tonight. Matt's most recent album, Life You Imagine went on to be #1 on Amazon. In the beginning of October 2016, Matt released a single Gone Too Long, hinting at his former band's reunion, just after taking the stage in Wembley to perform a solo set with a live orchestra. Meanwhile, his twin brother Luke re-invented himself as an actor and moved to the US. He since starred in such blockbusters as Blade II, Tekken, Hellboy II: The Golden Army and War Pigs.

There have been ongoing talks about the reunion since 2008, but both Matt and Luke numerously denied the rumours. Until now, on the 25th anniversary of Changing Faces, Bros confirmed that they will reunite (but without bassist Craig Logan, who devoted himself to the music management and songwriting) for a massive show at O2 in London.

A quarter of a century later, one of the most successful pop groups of the 80s once again will hit the stage. Fans now await news of the new material. Only time can tell if the follow-up tracks Will Make them Famous again, but we are all in, at least for the matching leather vests.
