This October, Metallica will play five UK gigs as part of the tour to support new album Hardwired.... To Self Destruct.
The tour includes two dates at The 02 Arena in London before an arena show in Glasgow, Manchester, and Birmingham.
In addition to the UK, the band play across Eastern and Western Europe, and play 38 shows in total. They begin in September in Holland and finishing up in Finland in spring 2018. Norwegian metallers Kverlatak have been announced as support for every show.
The band have offered some exclusive packages for fans including premium tickets and amenities and meet and greets. Check here for information
Footage of their tour in Mexico City where they introduced Iggy Pop on stage to play a Stooges song hints at the fine form the band are on, as did their intimate album launch gig at House of Vans late last year.
Metallica are no less potent than when they were in their youth, they are still an utterly ferocious live act. They are the greatest metal band going (we can say that now that Black Sabbath have retired).
The band's heavy latest album exceeded our expectations when it was released last year, and it truly holds next to their classic album material. The album was ranked no.18 in our albums of the year 2016 and was described as a "colossal sounding record".
This tour is not to be missed. Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, March 24th and tickets will be avaialble here
