Gorillaz have announced a pair of UK warm-up dates as they gear up for this year’s Humanz tour.
The animated band have confirmed that they’ll play St. Albans Alban Arena on June 2 and Portsmouth Guildhall on June 4. Tickets on sale at 9am, Friday May 19. The gigs will take place a week ahead of Gorillaz’s highly anticipated Demon Dayz event in Margate on June 10.
The Margate event will see Vince Staples, De La Soul and Fufanu performing on the Main Stage, while the Red Bull-presented Hall By The Sea will host sets by Danny Brown, Little Simz, Kali Uchis, Popcan and Kilo Kish. A third stage will feature the Gorillaz Sound System and DJs.
Elsewhere, Gorillaz have announced that their gig in Cologne, Germany, on June 20, will be live-streamed in HD and 360-degrees.
Gorilla will then return to the UK for a tour in November and December. They play:
