We’ve all been there: you quite fancy seeing Zara Larsson but you’re worried about missing Arcade Fire? Or perhaps you want to be as far away from the stage as possible when Catfish And The Bottlemen are on? And who can blame you? Well fear not – the all-new Isle Of Wight festival app, powered by Second Screen, has been launched to help you get the best out of your festival weekend.

Apart from the festival programme – and let’s face it, who carries one of those around when you’re busy embarking on a weekend of hedonistic pleasures, right? – the new app will be the only other place to find out the stage times of all your favourite and not-so-favourite acts. And not only that, the new app promises to offer exclusive backstage content, line-up news and a bunch of other stuff. Phew!
The app is available for download from the App Store and Google Play.
Now in its 16th year since its relaunch in 2002, this year’s Isle of Wight takes place June 8 – 11. This year’s headliners include David Guetta, Run DMC, thew aforementioned Arcade Fire and Rod Stewart. Also scheduled to appear are – deep breath - Kaiser Chiefs, The Kooks, Texas, Rag ‘N’ Bone Man, Tom Chaplin, The Slow Readers Club, Melanie C, Razorlight, Starsailer and The Alarm. And a whole lot more.

Speaking of this year’s line-up, festival boss John Giddings said: "The Isle of Wight Festival has always been known for its variety in music and this year is no different.
