It appears something is brewing within The Killers' camp, according to their social media activity. Is new music around the corner?
The band have been setting tongues wagging by tweeting some desert-based images, which appear to be part of a series of new press shots. Dutch photographer Anton Corbijn - who worked on the band's video for 'All These Things That I've Done - features in one behind-the-scenes snap.
Another image shows a classic car in the middle of the desert, and is captioned "Out in the desert with the K's #photoshoot".

A snippet of studio footage was also uploaded to the band's Twitter account recently, so it looks like the wheels are in motion for a comeback.
The band have been working on a new album with U2 producer Jacknife Lee since last September and have been recording in a variety of locations including Las Vegas, San Diego, LA and Joshua Tree
Meanwhile, The Killers are set to appear as UK festival exclusives at British Summer Time festival in Hyde Park in July. Anticipation is already running high that the band will preview material from their forthcoming and as-yet untitled fifth album – their first since 2012’s Battle Born. Recent activity surely makes this more likely.
Joining the Las Vegas hitmakers in Hyde Park are Cold War Kids, British Sea Power, Mew, Mystery Jets, The Strypes and Alex Cameron. Elbow and 80s ‘Everybody Wants To Rule The World’ stars Tears For Fears will also feature as support. Impressive.
