More about:

Radiohead have moved two planned shows at the Manchester Arena into one massive gig at the Emirates Old Trafford on July 4. The original shows at the Manchester Arena were originally scheduled to take place on July 4 and 5.

Existing ticketholders for the previously announced shows on July 4 and 5 at Manchester Arena will be contacted by their ticket agent and offered a ticket swap for the new venue, or a full refund. Additional tickets for the July 4 show will go on sale on Saturday, June 17.

The news follows last month's tragic incident at Manchester Arena and its subsequent temporary closure, which left the venue with no option other than to cancel Radiohead’s forthcoming concerts on July 4 and 5.

The news of the venue change comes during a busy period for the band. Radiohead’s ninth studio album, A Moon Shaped Pool, hit Number 1 in the UK Official Albums chart last year and spent 25 weeks in the charts. More recently, the band opened the vaults to unearth previously unreleased material as part of the 20th anniversary re-issue programme for their 1997 album, OK Computer.

Radiohead will also return to the Glastonbury festival on June 23 were they will be the Friday night headliners on the Pyramid Stage.
