UK indie's brightest new hopes

UK indie's brightest new hopes Blackwaters have unveiled their new single 'Let The Good Times Roll'. Check it out first on Gigwise below

Played at blistering tempo, and kept short and sweet at two minutes forty seconds, it's a potent cut that nods to The Libertines and Stiff Little Fingers and the energy on this recording helps to convey why they're fast becoming known one of the most highly-acclaimed new live bands around.

As the title perhaps indicates, the song is about hedonistic pleasures, but also seems to touch on the trouble that comes along with being wasted. The song captures the essence of chaos of bar culture, getting into awkward situations, and camaraderie with mates. Few new tracks have distilled these scenes and feelings that come with being young and chasing the rock 'n' roll dream as well as this in a while.

Such is the potency of the song, expect heavy rotation on radio, and with support slots for The Libertines around the corner, Blackwaters have the opportunity to, and are likely to, win hearts up and down the country. These are a force to be reckoned with. Get on it early.
