Stormzy has displayed his prodigious work rate in the shape of a new freestyle video, ‘4PM In London’ that you can watch below. And on top of that, he’s also hinted that a new album may be landing sooner than expected.

Rapping to the beat of Drake’s of ‘4PM In Calabasas’ – see what he did there? – Stormzy teases that new material is on the way among the sideswipes at major labels.

“Heard the first hit, they want the sequel,” he raps. “I’ve been working fucking hard, the album’s coming soon I swear.”

The new video arrives hot on the heels of last week’s release of the short film, Gang Signs & Prayer. The 15:55-long clip was written and directed by Rollo Jackson. It chronicles Stormzy’s inner battles growing up and is soundtracked by the songs ‘Return Of The Rucksack’, ‘Bad Boys’ and ‘100 Bags’, which feature on Stormzy’s Gang Signs & Prayer LP - the first-ever grime album to reach Number One in the UK charts.

Speaking of the film, Stormzy said: “Young youts like myself, that grow up in the hood, we often don’t know that we are actually the masters of our own destiny.

“There are so many things that steer us in the wrong direction however, we decide what happens in our own lives and like my album, I endeavoured for this film to portray just that. Derived from my album Gang Signs & Prayer, and written and directed by the legend that is Rollo, I’ll let the visual do the talking.”
