Leeds based alt-pop trio PEAKES have released, 'Waves', a new single from their first EP Space which is coming out at the end of next month.
The single is a synth heavy sultry track with rushes of electronic texture and heavy drums. It showcases why this act are hotly tipped as being ones to watch in the coming year. Comparisons to Little Dragon and Tove Lo show this group to the potential to go on to making engaging and challenging pop-music, slick and self-assured.
PEAKES are made up of Molly Puckering (vocals), Maxwell Shirley (keyboards) and Pete Redshaw (drums). Considering they have only been together a year they are making enviably accomplished music. The EP is out on new London imprint Circadian Rhythms.
