Get a load of the new video for St. Vincent’s track ‘Los Ageless’, the second cut off her forthcoming album Masseduction, out 13 October.

Directed by Willo Perron, who has previously overseen videos for The xx, Rihanna and Kanye West, the 3:46 clip sees Tulsa-born St. Vincent (real name Annie Clark) wrapped in bandages, injected with Botox, and forced to eat creepy writhing green matter. Most distressingly, we also see her cheeks stretched out way too far by anonymous gloved hands.

Pitched, presumably, as a none-too-subtle attack on absurd Hollywood beauty standards, the video is rendered in nightmarish oversaturated colours. Other wild details include a cutaway to Clark sat in a recliner chair while a svelte pair of stiletto’d legs kick at her, and another creepy shot of the singer feeding sheets of paper marked with the word ‘NO’ into a shredder.

After studying at Berklee College of Music for three years, St. Vincent began her music career as a member of the Polyphonic Spree. She also toured as a member of Sufjan Stevens's touring act before forming her own band in 2006.

In 2012 she released massively acclaimed album ‘Love This Giant’ with former Talking Heads frontman David Byrne.

New album Masseduction is due for release on October 13 and according to her remarks earlier this year, given in an interview with The New Yorker, the record be ‘all about sex and drugs and sadness.’

St. Vincent recently contributed a cover of the Beatles’ ‘All You Need Is Love’ for a Tiffany & Co ad campaign to promote a new fragrance:
