We’re thrilled to announce that Gigwise have teamed up with promoters Fifth Floor Bookings to bring you a secret gig by super-excellent south London rockers Tangerines. The gig takes place at The Old Blue Last in London on November 11 and it's free entry. See the Facebook event.

Formed from the ashes of Black Manila by singer and guitarist Gareth Hoskins and childhood friend and drummer Isaac Robson at the tail end of 2014, Peckham’s Tangerines are completed by guitarist Miles Prestai and bassist Ricky Clark.

On top of that, we can also confirm that there will also be a DJ set from members of Fat White Family and support from Milk Disco and Spinning Lamps.

Having released a number of gloriously scuzzy singles in the shape of ‘You Look Like Something I Killed’ and ‘Skin ‘Dives’, Tangerine’s debut album, Into The Flophouse, emphatically delivers on that initial promise.

This is supremely fucked up rock’n’roll that’s the perfect soundtrack to a world slowly but methodically sliding down the plughole. Tangerines don’t pull their punches and they certainly hit well above their weight. This isn’t music to sit around and stare at your feet to – this is going to be a detonation on stage.
