Bryan Adams will play a number of huge UK shows next year, including two London gigs

The Canadian singer, most famous for his incessantly played hit Summer of 69 as well as the bloated ballad (Everything I Do) I Do It For You, is releasing a new compilation album on November 3. It’s called The Ultimate, and also includes two new tracks. The Ultimate Tour will include seven British shows. The dates are:

MAY 2018

24, Manchester Arena
25, Birmingham Genting Arena
26, Glasgow SSE Hydro
27, Leeds First Direct Arena
29, Newcastle Metro Radio Arena
30, London Wembley SSE Arena
31, London The O2

Adams has also released a new single along with the announcement. The predictably MOR Please Stay is one of the two new compositions included on The Ultimate.

His last studio album proper was the well-received Get Up, which appeared last year. Nothing if not hard-working, Adams backed it with a large UK tour just last year. He was last seen closing this year’s Invictus Games in Toronto, where he was joined by Bruce Springsteen. The pair performed Adams’ 1983 hit Cuts Like A Knife, as well as Springsteen’s Badlands.

Tickets for the Adams tour go on sale here at 9am next Friday, October 20.
